Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 19, 2026
These terms govern use of the Northshore Linguistics, LLC website and provide general conditions for inquiries and translation-related services. A written, project-specific quote or agreement may establish additional or different terms; in case of conflict, the signed or expressly accepted project agreement controls.
Services and quotes
We offer written translation, transcription, audio translation, subtitles, voice-over, and video localization for English, Russian, and Spanish, subject to availability and project acceptance. Published prices are starting rates and are not binding offers. Minimum charges are $35 for written translation and $50 for multimedia projects. A final quote will specify scope, price, delivery and any relevant assumptions.
Acceptance and payment
A project begins only after both parties agree on scope, pricing, schedule, and any required payment. Payment methods, deadlines and any deposits will be stated in the quote or invoice. Payments should be made only through a verified payment link or instructions supplied directly by Northshore Linguistics, LLC.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing usable source materials, accurate instructions, necessary rights and permissions, and timely feedback. Changes to source materials or scope may require a revised quote and delivery date.
Quality and revisions
Written translation may use computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and receives human proofreading and quality review. Voice-over and dubbing production methods are identified in the quote. Reasonable corrections of errors within the agreed scope may be requested promptly after delivery; new content, changed instructions, or stylistic changes outside scope may incur additional fees.
Rights and confidentiality
Clients represent that they have the right to submit materials for processing. We will treat nonpublic project materials as confidential, subject to service delivery needs, authorized subcontractors and applicable legal obligations. Ownership and licensing of final deliverables should be confirmed in the project agreement.
Limitations
We do not guarantee suitability for regulated, certified, sworn, legal, or medical purposes unless specifically agreed in writing. Any applicable warranties, limitations of liability, and dispute procedures should be stated in the accepted project agreement and are subject to applicable law.
